Billionaire and engineer Elon Musk recently reported on scammers who use the identity of famous people on Twitter to get the Ethereum coins (ETH).
In his Twitter message, Elon Musk paid special attention to the activity of crypto-crooks in social networks. He did not attach any importance to Ethereum, noted that these people have incredible skills:
“I want to know who is running the Etherium scambots! Mad skillz …”
Vitalik Butrin, who published the message “Do not give ETH” to fight scammers, called Jack Dorsey to deal with this problem. As a solution to this problem, Buterin suggested developing a second-level solution, which will identify fraud:
“@jack help us please? Or someone from the ETH community make a layer 2 scam filtering solution, please?”
In addition, Buterin was extremely disappointed by the fact that Musk, publishing his first tweet about Ethereum, paid attention to fraud issues, not the development of network technologies:
“I do wish @elonmusk’s first tweet about ethereum was about the tech rather than the twitter scambots……..”
