Three Thai Citizens Suspected of Cryptocurrency Fraud Denying Their Guilt

Three Thai nationals who are accused in a $ 24 million Bitcoin fraud case will continue to deny their guilt during a hearing in the Thai Criminal Court. The news was published in the local newspaper the Bangkok Post on November 7.

During the hearings, the Thai prosecutor’s office filed charges, saying that the three defendants, along with 6 accomplices, deceived the Finnish investor Aamai Otava Saarimaa last year. As the results of the investigation show, the attackers convinced a Finnish citizen to invest in the shares of Expay Software Co., as well as invest in gambling and 500 million shares of DNA (2002) Co.

According to prosecutors, after the attackers received the money, they acquired several sites in Thailand, while the investor did not receive the promised profit, after which he filed a complaint with the Thai Crime Prevention Department.

The suspects deny their guilt and the charges against them.
