Introducing the new online course, the LSE reported that they were guided by their motto “to understand the causes of things.” Thus, the university intends to support large corporations, private investors, financial companies, the government and regulators in the study of the cryptocurrency sphere,

“The exponential growth and volatility of cryptocurrencies and the distributed ledger technology underpinning them has led to a global interest in cryptoassets, ICOs and the distribution of digital wealth.”

It is reported that Dr. Karsten Sorensen, associate professor of information systems and innovation, will lead the new course, which will consist of 6 modules of 60 hours each. The cost of the course is about 2116 dollars or 1800 euros.
