The Chinese company Bitmain, which is a producer of Bitcoin mining equipment (BTC), published in its blog a statement in which it presented its policy regarding the mining of cryptocurrency.
The company said that they adhere to the policy of creating a “fair and transparent cryptocurrency ecosystem”, especially in the creation and sale of equipment for mining and in the production of cryptocurrency in general.
Regarding the delivery of equipment, Bitmain intends to introduce 4 important aspects: limit the number of orders, establish “first-paid-first-ship” orders, solve the problem of “accumulation” and provide monthly reports on the delivery of goods.
It is reported that the company will publish a monthly report on algorithms and general indicators of the hash of the equipment used for these algorithms. Also, Bitmain will publish data on the delivery of equipment, new miners and other aspects in their Twitter account.
Introducing the new rules, Bitmain once again stressed its negative attitude to the “secret mining” of the cryptocurrency. Also, the company noted that they will not be engaged in the mining of empty blocks:
“While often described as the result of sinister intent, empty blocks often occur because of issues in block propagation at the protocol level rather than active decision-making by mining pool operators. We are actively working towards mitigating these issues.”
