According to the Data, Google Play Store Still Contains Applications for Cryptocurrency Mining

As mentioned in the report published by Next Web on August 28, despite the previously imposed ban, Google Play Store still contains applications that allow you to obtain cryptocurrency.

We remind you that on July 27, Google introduced a ban on the distribution of applications related to cryptocurrency, on the Google Play Store. The company notified developers in advance, giving them 30 days to remove or modify their applications in accordance with the new rules.

Despite the fact that the period allocated to the developers was over, Google Play Store still contains applications related to cryptocurrency. As the data show, in the Market found about 8 similar applications, 3 of which were later removed. NeoNeonMiner, Crypto Miner PRO, Pickaxe and Bitcoin Miner applications continue to be located in the store, claiming that the applications meet all the requirements set by Google.

The MinerGate application was remotely from the store, but MinerGate developers insist that the latest version of the application has removed the mining analysis functions, which complies with Google’s requirements. The developers reported:

“Mining on your phone directly was among the core features of the MinerGate app before the last changes in Google Play Development policies. With the last update, we are removing this functionality to meet the updated requirements.”
